Here are some of the dishes we’ve had using perennial vegetables in October. (For neatness I’ve presented them day by day for a week – but really we’ve eaten these at various times over the course of the month).
Monday – Chicory and tomato salad
Tuesday – Skirret and sea beet pasties
Wednesday – Horseradish leaf soup
Thursday – Braised purple tree collard and apple (mid-cooking)
Friday – Marsh woundwort tuber tempura
Saturday – Sorrel dal
Sunday – Radicchio and chestnut risotto
